Kickstarting the lawyerbank Christmas party with cocktails and canapés in the Sculpture Garden at the National Gallery was a wonderful way to wrap up 2020!

It was a family affair as the elves, big and small, got into the Christmas spirit to decorate the lawyerbank headquarters!

We were delighted to introduce our team to lawyerbank HQ for our first Friday night drinks last week! You can now find us at Level 4, 33 Allara Street, Canberra City.

Spread across Canberra and Melbourne our new team members bring a wealth of Commonwealth experience and stellar personalities to boot! Welcome Lex Holcombe, Dariel DeSousa, Claudia Woolfe, Veronica Belot, Francisco Huezo and Rachel Noronha!

We have introduced lawyerbank yoga for all our Canberra-based lawyers and their guests! It’s a great way for our team to both catch up and wind down... and we are especially fortunate to have our own Mike Rosalky (Senior Associate and Yogi Extraordinaire) lead us through the sessions! 🧘🏻‍♂️

After a challenging and isolating first half of the year, we were thrilled to host many of the lawyerbank team for our Mid Year Dinner at the gorgeous La Cantina restaurant. An abundance of fine Italian food and wine combined with vivacious company made for a stellar evening... and most of us escaped unscathed from the fire breathing, guillotine-wielding magician 🎩 🙄 A big congratulations to John Kelly and one of our power couples, Katrina Terei and Suren Goonewardene, who each took home a Penfolds Grange to mark their 300 days on secondment!
